Childrens' Sewing at Café Créme

A day of learning for me, as today I have been teaching the under 10’s to sew. All apprehensions were soon dismissed, as they were great company, many telling me stories and keeping me entertained.

On offer for them was to make a bookmark, mobile phone case or a glasses case. They also got a drink and a butterfly bun.

I’ve never had three hours go so quick. We sat in a corner of Café Crème in Penistone and I was vaguely aware of other customers coming and going, many taking time to see what we were doing.
